ABOUT ELIZA
Eliza has been involved in athletics since she was 5 years old. She started her career with Greystanes Little Athletics Club in the Tiny Tots age group in 1998. Eliza has always shown a talent for running and that has enhanced since attending Westfields Sports High School being coached by James Fitzgerald. Since joining Westfields, she has won 5 consecutive CHS 800m titles and was gold medallist in the Australian Youth and Junior championships in 2009. Eliza has been competing at open level for experience and hopes to make her mark in the open age group in the near future.
Eliza’s main events are 800m and 1500m but she also competes in the 400m to Cross Country events.
The next major event for Eliza will be the NSW Youth and Junior Championships in February 2011. In the meantime, Eliza will continue to train hard and compete in regular All Comer events.
